Most of my CW operation is on 40 meters. I think with the sunspot cycle declining and with fall/winter approaching when the lower bands are quieter, the 1340 would be an excellent choice. You can't go wrong with 20 or 30 meters either, though there is certainly less activity on 30 than on the other bands.
