No such thing as a bad question Joe. QRP is running anything less than 5 watts output. CW typically will yield more contacts than other modes at low power levels. However one can operate QRP in any mode. I run 2 watts QRP using PSK31 on 20 meters and do quite well. I also run low power SSB on all bands as well as 10 meter AM qrp. Hope this answered your question.
