If you are interested, I have a few single tube regen receiver circuits but there are also single and multiple SS circuits in the ARRL handbook, ARRL QRP Power book and W1FB's QRP projects.

Some of the tube circuits work very nice and many will recieve into the VHF range, aircraft and etc.

The 6AQ5 tube is popular, another is the 6CW4 Nuvistor. You will need about 150 VDC at about 50 milliamps for the 6AQ5 tube, 6 VAC for filament power. The nuvistor will run off 90 volts.

Also check the 1960 and 1970 issues of the ARRL handbook if you can.
