I always hate these "best rig" questions, because the answer always is, "it depends". You've given a little insight into what you care about, but probably not enough.

You said "the quality of the radio". Well, the problem is, quality means what the customer wants it to mean. If you put the three radios side by side, there is no question that the FT-817 is a better built radio. The quality of the fit and finish is far better than the other two.

"ability to pull weak signals out of the noise" - if noise means the ambient band noise, then probably the rig with the DSP will be the best (but to be honest I have no actual data here).

*BUT* - if there are other strong signals nearby, there is no question, the K2 wins hands down.

So which one's the best? It depends....
