Or something close to that. You will find that the spool is multi-stranded and is composed of 7 to 19 strands of #22 AWG wire(depending on the wire gauge purchased). The spool may be anywhere from 100' to 500' long so for about 7 bucks or so you will be able to obtain 700 to 9000' of # 22 AWG when properly dismantled. If you want larger than 22 AWG, search the spools available for your wants. This technique should certainly satisfy anyones need for antenna wire for a long time. walt w2ugz
