If you are looking at a CW-only rig, take a good look at the Elecraft K1 kit. Not to detract from the others, but the K1 is very well kitted, professionally done, a challenge but very doable(building a K1 was my first real project) as the documentation is exceptional.

With the K1 you have your choice of a two-band version or a 4-band version. I built the 4-band, and I'm thinking of getting a two-band module for the radio as well.

Completing the radio and making contacts with a half-watt or so but getting 559, 579 and 599 reports from stations accross the country, and a 559 from Asiatic Russia while running only 5 watts..... Let me tell you, I've not experienced anything more satisfying than knowing that _I_ put this thing of beauty together.
