John,

You are correct. This is a warm up for the ARRL 160 M contest the following weekend. It is a Wednesday evening - 8 to midnite local time in your area. It was requested and the club (Randy = our outstanding contest manager) responded with this NEW contest.

You'll see more in next week or so on the lists, etc.

One more little thing - when you post a link, put it in the box for URL's. That way folks can just click on it to got to it. If you put a link in the body of the messsages, it does not "light up" a button to go there. I have repeated the link in the URL box and it appears below. You can also link to pix that are posted on the web by putting that refernce in the pix box. The pix is not stored on our system, just the link so it doesn't take up any space or anything here. Easy to use....
