I am just starting out. Have a nice homebrew tube receiver. Need to make my transmitter now and get my licence. If I want a nice key where should I look? I don't see much at hamfests. I could make one if plans were available, I think I would prefer that. I may try without plans, just haven't looked at one since I was a kid. The details of the throw, backlash and spring tension adjustment are sketchy to me. I don't mind spending some money for a good antque one either. That would be a second choice though.
