Subject:  Appalachian Trail Hike in PA

Hello,

Well Ed, WA3WSJ and I, WB3AAL will be heading out on the AT
on Friday morning, June 15, 16 & 17, 2001. This is our second leg
of hiking the 220 miles of the AT in PA. This trip will be 20.8 miles
from Wind Gap to Palmerton, PA.

We should be on the bands near the QRP frequencies sometime
Friday evening. We will make some contacts on Saturday morning
and evening. Not sure about Sunday QSO's, but if we do it will be in
the early morning.

This will be another tough hike since we have to haul our water with us.
Ed will have his K1 and I will have my K2.

So if you hear us, please stop and say hello. Then if you could post us on
any of the lists, it would be appreciated.
