I had packed for cold WX,never thought of bringing sunscreen. That was my first solo backpacking trip, now have northern half of AT completed(in sections,minus a 30 mi. piece in NH/Me). Carried a Forty 9er last summer in Me in the Hundred Mi Wilderness,that was a bust,your rigs make more sense hi. GL 73 Joe K2JT
