Subject:  What happens to QRP operation during solar minima?

I have been inactive for a few years, and I am considering coming back -- this time QRP! My one, very naive question is: What happens when the current solar cycle begins to wind down and prop goes down the tubes? Is QRP operation still rewarding or even meaningful?
