I built the 1340 last month, and I'm very pleased with it. The manual was very clear, and construction straight forward. Even though I would like 500 Hz. selectivity, the 1 KHz. is sharp enough to seperate most signals. It has a nice sidetone, and seamless QSK. After about a 30 min. warmup, the drift is barely noticable. Very rugged cabinet. A real value.
