Subject:  HELP! weird transistor sub needed!

I need to replace a transistor in my Tektronix 221 portable scope...it is labeled tip 605 and is a to-92 package. Ive tried NTE etc, but no luck. I do know it is a Texas Instruments device and am waiting on a reply fro them. Any info or if anyone has a few of these laying around it would be much appreciated!
