Go with the Ten-Tec Joe. I've built both (Cub was for 20M). I think you get more "bang for the buck" with the 1340 and the instructions were superb. I especially liked building in stages and testing as you progress along. RIT is nice to have too. My "cons" would be not liking RCA phono plugs. Feel free to e-mail me if I can be of further help.
