I have been interested in QRP for the last few years but have only recently been able to become actively involved. I have a Ten Tec PM 3 which I purchased in 1978 which is my QRP rig. My questions are the following:

a. What is the BEST time to be on the with my QRP rig? I usually go on the air around 2000-2100 PDST and have difficulty in getting any contacts.

b. Should I invest in another QRP rig since the technical design of the PM3 is old?

c. I read the December QST regarding 6 QRP transceivers. Does anyone have any info regarding the Ten tec 1340 QRP rig--is this QRP rig "anygood"? What is the best QRP rig?
