This QRP-F is much harder for me to work with (for
instance I cannot regularly access it from home,
whereas I can get the QRP-L digests still via JUNO
from there). Due to my schedule, I cannot stayed
glued to this Web browser to watch for such stuff.
As it is I almost missed Ron because I was a day
behind on reading QRP-L digests. I got on the air
at 0200, the time I thought was scheduled for Mary,
and didn't recognize Ron immediately as the
authorized Fox stand in. Fortunately I was able
to catch him 5 minutes before he QRT'd.

It is a good thing that "real" contests do
not have last minute schedule changes for days/times/
and participants, otherwise I would likely miss such
events as the QRP ARCI Fall QSO party, IL QSO Party,
or ARRL Sweepstakes due to my inability to stay
glued to "web time". As it is, I can never work
Jim in Alaska because he is always announcing his
operating schedule in "real time" -- I cannot access
the Internet in "real time" usually, let alone "web
time" (that accelerated nature of time that has us
all scrambling about to catch something before it is
gone, let alone not even here yet :-).
