I received Sam with a 459 + QSB and Sam received me with a 569. The W3IRZ all homebrew, all tube, station consisted of the NOGA 2 Tube 80 TX At AE4GX Sam was using his variation of the same TX but scaled to one tube Mike W3IRZ From Sam AE4GX QSL QSO at 8/19/2000 at 1304-1316utc on 3.686 mhz. But I'm getting ahead of my story and we all know thats where the real fun So I decided to strip out the other PC transformer and go for the bigger
