I won't arrive until Wednesday, but then I'm going to stay until the Thursday after the conference. I'll be travelling with my baby boy, and we expect to go back to where my great grandfather came from after the conference. Boy is of legal age so we expect we'll visit quite a few establishments in our quest to knock some talk ou of folks there. I've been corresponding with ei3io from Dublin the past few days, and was hoping to meet him. But unfortunately, looks like he will be out of the country while we are there. I don't have an HT with the 1750 tone, but there appear to be quite a few carrier only repeaters, so I expect I'll take an HT. Hate to miss 3 foxes in a row, but I haven't convinced myself that I'm going to drag HF gear. Besides, I need room in the suitcase in case I find some good junque. Do you plan to do any traveling around before the con or will you stick close to Dublin? We're going to do our touring afterwards. We are staying at the airport on our arrival and of course at the Institute during the conference, but otherwise we're keeping our options open.  |
