Normally the antenna is to short and the ground lead is to long. I could add an inductor to the antenna lead and tune it, just peak the L for best signal. However, if I add a C to the ground lead to tune the inductance of the ground lead out, what could I use as an indicator that it was set correctly. On a transmitter I can tune for no current flow in the ground lead, however, on receive ??? If I tune the C for peak signal, how do I know that it is not just cancelling out apart of the inductor in the antenna lead. Something to Ponder... |
