Well, next month marks the 1 year anniversary of K2 #286 taking the
airwaves--so we gotta have a party!!!

I know of at least 3 other K2's in the Fort Collins area, and many
more along the front range. Who's interested in meeting someplace,
mountain location preferable, for an on air K2 fest? I'd like to do
it in July or August. Where shall we do it? Estes Park? Cameron Pass?
Other ideas?????

I figure we meet late morning, set up and operate for 3 or 4 hours,
CW, SSB, PSK31, then pack it in for the day. If you want to
participate but can't make the location we decide on, consider a
location close to you, bring an HT and an Arrow Beam and we'll see if
we can mountain-top connect VHF/UHF.

Reply/discuss off list, I'll set up my Yahoo account for a "bulletin
board" if we need it. When things are set I'll post a summary to the
Elecraft reflector.

Price of addmission: You must have a K2, be working on one, or
seriously interested in getting one. If you have any other QRP radio,
don't know what a K2 is but want to find out more, that's OK too. ;-)
